Frequently Asked Questions

Why is JavaScript required?
Because the features which make this easy like centering and checking the links use JavaScript.
How big is a cube?
The ones we have it set up for now are two inches on a side, perfect for holiday ornaments. Other formats will be added in the future.
What if i do not want pictures on the sides of my cube?
Use a see though image like the one that we provide at http://easyphotocube.com/transparent.gif
What color will the sides of my cube be if I use the see though image or if my picture does not cover the phone side?
The background color set using the caption panel. It can be different for each side.
Why aren't my photos showing up? The link checker said they were okay.
Paste the link into a new browser window and see what the link checker found. You might have liked to an album page, not an individual picture.

How do you know if a photo is obscene?
I know. You may think this is arbitrary but this is my site.
Where did you get this idea?
I saw orgami cubes with cut-out photos glued to them at a party and realized that there could be an easier way.
Why doesn't printing work with Chrome or Safari on Windows?
Neither Chrome nor Safari on Windows offer the choice to print the background images. Use Opera, FireFox or Internet Explorer instead.
Why don't you allow image uploads?
Two reasons, 1) this is a little site, not a big photo sharing site, and 2) I am scared of what some people would choose to upload.
Can I use images on my hard drive?
It is possible if you are running a web server on your machine. I do not encourage this because you will not be able to share the cubes that you make.
Can I use images that I find using Google image search?
Yes, but you must comply with the Terms of Use at the originating site.
